Le Refuge sits on its own piece of nature — almost two hectares of olive trees, wild herbs and warm stone, hidden in the hills behind Saint-Tropez.
There is no neighbour in sight, only the sound of cicadas, the breeze through the pines, and in the distance the slow blue line of the Mediterranean. The house draws its water from its own well, and lives gently with the land around it.
